This week GRi11 2.0 went to Sixtus Lodge...
This week GRi11 2.0 packed their bags and drove off to Sixtus Lodge for camp.
The thing is that they did NOT know what they were in for... so when we got there we settled in to our bunks and then headed outside.
One of my favorite bits was the horse riding...
When I walked up to Hercules, I got a wave of Butterflys in my stomach. I had never ridden a horse before. He was so big and I was worried that I would fall off!
I finally decided to hop up on the step and flip my legs over the Big Brown Beast. I thought it would be ok but then... It started to move!!!
Ok, now you could say I was "scared" but at least I was NOT alone to control of the horse. I had help from an instructor who led Hercules- that made me feel way safer.
As I was making my way back to the stables I realised that this was not so bad after all. Maybe I could ride Elvis at Home?
