my year in GRi11

Dear Hugo 20 years from now

Learning back in 2016 was a lot different to what kids learn like now but we still learn with a device and we type with our fingers wow what is that. Kids probably learn at how and has something like chip stuck in there head and whatever they think it type's into the computer and they might have Iphone100000000 by then. and siri might be some form of person. learning was way different to what you learn like now and here is a piece of writing I write in year 6 2016 with my fingers.

My year in GRi11 was a lot different from my other five year’s because, well a lot really, fast track, camp,food festival, sports festival etc. this year i’m am most proud of learning how to use fast track because at the start of the year I must admit I was kind of stink at computers or ict. And in the production I was a hip hop dancer I am not the type for hip hop but it turned out pretty well because we had our own time to shine. Camp was also one of the really fun times because i tried horse riding and I had a good glimpse at some beautiful glow worms And i also I can't forget my friends they have helped me through this year with all the up’s and downs I have survived and I have had a massive BLAST.

Cultural food festival

GRi11 2.0 is doing a festival tomorrow the 16th For the cultural festival Ruan and I are making traditional pizza from Italy. and Ethan,Jaeziah and Scott are making German ginger bread men. I think it is a good idea but there I a fault because we are spending money buying the ingredients but we won't make a profit it is weird but o well.we have a poster for pizza and tooth pick with flag on it on the back of the Mini flag will be info about pizza's history. I think one of the best food in the world comes from Italy well at that's what I think.

Athletics

For Athletics i am doing discus i came 4 last year 2 of the best are gone to intermediate so I have a good chance this year I might come 2-3 at least i can't wait for discus my friend Ethan came 3 last year and he is here this year he is pretty good too

Hieroglyphic Narrative

It is I King Quail, The leader of the the Native mob. We were trying to survive with just ONE flax wick until we find sanctuary.

Alright everyone time to go back into the tent because it’s 11pm come on go in before me because I'm the one with the shotgun here.

Sup bro’s I'm Tanai a member of the native mob and I have a part of the story to tell. So when King Quail was hustling all of us cuzzies in the tent, he saw something, I don’t know exactly what he saw but he must've saw something rad. It looked something like a bird but it was stuck in something as well that's all that I saw before he got back up and exclaimed “oy Tanai get back in your hammock now boi ”

Sup my cuzzies I'm Mana and I'm here to tell you what happened that night, well at least all that I saw. I was standing next to Tanai I saw exactly what he saw except I saw that it was not just a sparrow or any common bird it looked like a huia  because it's long because but it was very dark at that time of night so I can't be sure.

Hi I'm Kanohi and I had a torch that night so I am 100% sure that what I saw was true. I was meant to be on night shift but master said “I'm doing night shift because today is Halloween you know what that means”but I was swinging  in my macrocarpa anyway and boss saw a kind of bird and said to myself “ he said he was doing night shift so I don't have to worry” but then he ran back into the tent and of course I had the only torch in the mob and turned the torch on and shone it on the creature and to discover that the “creature” was a minion of King Quail a baby quail.

We decided to keep it for its eggs and after a week we’ll kill it in about a week the only way we could keep the Quail Chick isolated is a jar Stand with a few holes in it which is good because the Quail chick needs To be able to see.

The mob is running well currently and there breeding the quails. The first quail they found “the one the story was about” has survived for a week they will need the meat because the quail grew up they will have to saluter it today :(.

Cinderella And Rockerfella Production

Last Monday and Tuesday we had our whole school production and Cinderella and Rokerfella. My Favorite part is when the ugly sisters come on and say we are here to brighten up your day with our hair and beauty and buttons say that the best joke i've heard so far.

When we come on we do dancing and do some singing i will now give you the perspective of me when i'm on stage. As i got from my seat up the top we went to the green room aka side stage lucky the curtain was closed because we were singing to the songs that was playing for the transaction of scene one to scene two.

 When the curtain rose we were ready to do our dancing then the music stopped the the smoke machine started working and it all went in our faces but it was not really strong smoke thank goodness.

My Weekend

I could not WAIT to try my new swimming togs! I had just been shopping with my Mum, Step Dad and my little brother at Rebel Sports. The togs looked so nice in the shop and I thought they would work so well  in the pool. I turned to Mum and said 'yip they'll do'. I gave them to her and we took it up to the counter and got them.

On the way to the pool we stopped off at my house for a lunch break and then headed of to the pool. I put on my brand new red and black togs and dashed into the pool. I did a huge bomb.They did not slip down one little bit! I was feeling excited that my new togs were working so well and they looked slick.

Then I went in the little pool with my little brother and step Dad and he did the whale in case you don’t know the wale is it is when you stand up in the water and you stay straight with your hands by your side and fall in the water to try and squish someone.

After the pool we went to my Mum’s friend's place for afternoon tea to sign Shona and her kids passport’s. There Dad is going to work in America and they are going along with him, so they need to get there passport’s signed by a witness.

TTS & CSI

Tuesday was one of the worst days in the world, Because the work was so easy and the teachers looked like they have just came back from Cambridge.Because Tuesday was traditional teaching day for us but the work was easy and they were so mean plus for lunch, we had only one piece of food for morning tea and they told us what to play for lunch and we did marching at morning tea as well.My my CSI matrix is over there.I Chose pink because i was sad means blue and angry means red so i just combined them.I chose that symbol because thats what i felt they were like do this! do that!.Image i chose that image because Mr R was walking around with a ruler smacking the table's.I did not like it very much luckily we don't live in that kind of  environment any more.
